2D and 3D Animation

Definition

Web-based animations can assist students in visualizing complex processes, relationships and interactions.  A variety of 2D and 3D animations are available online and through textbook ancillary materials.

Features

Mathematics and science teachers sometimes have difficulty explaining the connections of curriculum content to disciplines outside of their own.  Some 2D and 3D animations can illustrate the relationships between disciplines such science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM), by either simulating or displaying examples of these relationships.
